Ace the TTT are not for students. They are designed and delivered as an aide to the Instructors. They give guidance to the instructor on how to deliver the content to the students. Therefore they don't fellow any learning content structure or syllabus.
1) Yes it has value. It is like the "A+" for Servers. It is a requirement for all Server Techs at my job to have one.

Wow, great question, and a very important and hard topic. Francois and I are going to tackle that question in our Security+ 601 Sneak Peek. However, the short answer is yes. there are labs that Instructors can use to help reinforce their learning.
Lee the problem I have with NIST is that they take too long to publish new content. They should be at least updating a directive this important to Cybersecurity at least 2-3 years, and I'm being nice.
@Rick Butler this is an interesting topic? So is a vendor like RackSpace a private cloud? Can a CSP like AWS offer a private cloud service? I think terms are still being defined
