    A+

As I new member I am guessing you mean in general rather than the past train the trainer. (If you meant the TTT, see @Chris Posey 's post.) I suggest talking with your CompTIA rep for your school or organization, they can help you get access to the training content.

    In-Class Exercises

I completely agree with Rick that even older lab manuals still have a good value for learners. You could also let AI do some of the heavy lifting. For example, I had AI develop 5 scenarios with a broken windows installation, (BOOTMGR, BCD type issues for example) and had it create instructions...

    Birthday Celebrant

I definitely do not think it is against the rules, but it is likely in the wrong forum. (CIN Open Forum may be a better choice) I have never seen anyone use this platform for wishing students we will never meet a happy birthday, but I think it is really nice that you want them to feel...

    CIN Sneak Peek - CompTIA Linux+ v8

I agree Rick, the explosion of cloud growth really doubles down on the need to know Linux. It is running so many (most) of the servers out there!

Happy birthday Wajih! Question for you @abiodun1991 Are these your instructors or your students birthdays you are posting?

Are There New Requirements for CompTIA Trainers?

I kick myself for not getting this having been a CompTIA trainer for so long! I believe CompTIA is used to the big numbers that A+ Net+ Security+ and the like pull in, but I also really hope CompTIA sees the value in being the primary source of having a certification showing more than just...

    Passed Linux+ XK0-005

Congrats @Jason Perretta! Well done! Boy, do I agree with you on this @Gregory Childers! While Linux as a whole has quite a few challenging concepts overall, the exam is worlds apart from the Network+ or Security+ in terms of extreme detail questions.

CIN Essentials TTT Series: CompTIA AI Essentials

I am very curious to check out the CompCert courses and AI will be a great intro. Registered!

Get CompTIA Tech+ voucher or discount

Yes if you complete all the sessions promptly you will receive a voucher code in your email. I am unaware of how long you officially get to complete them.

Academic Pricing for CompTIA Academic Partners Currently Unavailable

Sorry to hear that didn't work. Does it show the "Academic" in the upper right next to your name? But Stephen is correct, your account rep is the best one to talk to on this.

    New CompTIA web site launch

If it doesn't show ACAD pricing, do a password reset and that fixed it for our school. Store

Academic Pricing for CompTIA Academic Partners Currently Unavailable

I advise you to do a password reset if you haven't done so since yesterday. Our purchaser had do do this to see the ACAD pricing. I have seen it working just 1 hour ago. https://store.comptia.org/certification-vouchers/c/11293?facetValueFilter=tenant~user-type%3aorganization-business%2c%3a&

SecAI+: Have we discussed this yet?

If an offering says "CompCert" it gives a certificate of completion (competency?). The ones offering a certification state it on the logo.

    New CompTIA web site launch

I received an email about this update as well - with a bad link included. Title: Welcome to CompTIA Bad hyperlink: /EPiServer/CMS/www.comptia.org

    No Tech+ ID card?

Congrats on passing the certification! No card for me either when I got my certificate in the mail a few weeks back.

Two of my certs are good through 2031. I'm done retaking exams just because the version has changed.

This really annoys me - that they don't list the version or the date taken. I retake the certifications no longer for validating my skills but to make sure I am up to speed with what CompTIA is focused on in the current version. And since my employer is paying there really is no reason for me...

Pearsonvue test center? You got one?

I very much agree, home testing, while convenient comes with a lot of other potential issues/headaches that just are not worth it if you have another option.

Security+ (Exam SYO-701), Performance-Based Questions (PBQ) Answer Key Availability?

From an outsider looking in, it doesn't appear she accused you of anything, just asked a clarifying question.

Update to CompTIA A+ in 2025?

CompTIA CIN sneak peek for the 1200 series just dropped. Feb 12th. A fellow instructor sent me a link and I've registered, but I haven't been able to locate it in CIN but this link works for registration https://event.on24.com/wcc/r/4844699/145A0698A4BAE53973A31C74EC49563C

    Lost voucher

Perhaps there is hope! You might double check the year on that email. Mine was good until 12/31/2025. Considering the Tech+ launch was in August of '24.....
