David M Shifflett

Over 45 total years of technical experience in DOD information systems development and integration of C2 and C4ISR systems from the component to system-level phases for Northrop Grumman.
Dave has twenty-five years with Northrop Grumman performing in positions of software test engineering, software engineering, integration engineering, system engineering, and cybersecurity engineering.
Previously was a US Army Instructor and Northrop Grumman Technical Trainer for joint operations targeting which included cyber defense and targeting.
In his current role as Sr. Principle Technical Trainer and Workforce Development Consultant with the Cyber Academy, Dave is responsible for overseeing Cyber Engineering courseware.
Dave is directly involved in the educational process and mentorship of cyber and information assurance programs. Dave is an adjunct professor for the Central Texas College information assurance and software engineering program in Oklahoma. Dave is sponsor by Northrop Grumman in the High School AP mentorship program at Eisenhower High School, Lawton, Oklahoma. Dave is a technical mentor for Cyber Patriot Program in Oklahoma and is a mentor for Mentoring Matters for cybersecurity systems and software engineers at Northrop Grumman.
Dave holds a Computer Information Systems (BS) degree from California Lutheran University. Two Masters of Science in Information Telecommunication System Management and Information Assurance at Capitol Technology University in Laurel MD
Dave holds a certification in SEC+, certifications from NSA Committee on National Security Systems in the areas of National standards for Training Information Systems Security, Senior Systems Managers, System Administrators, Information Security Officers, System Certifiers, and Risk Analysts. Dave is also a trained NSA Cyber Network Planners.
