Edgar Garza
He is responsible for curriculum development, outreach, and program implementation for TACC's Education and Outreach K-12 events. Before TACC, Edgar was an outreach program coordinator for GeoFORCE Texas, a geology-based high school outreach program at the UT Austin Jackson School of Geosciences. There he managed and lead initiatives to increase the number of underrepresented high school students pursuing STEM degrees and careers. Since 2008, Edgar has been working with students from low socioeconomic backgrounds to help them gain access to opportunities previously not available to them.
