I’ve been using Linux as my primary operating system since 2002 - back when distributions didn't offer the same level of excellence they do today. The last version of Windows I actually used was XP, up until 2008. At that time, I bought a new desktop PC and ditched XP for good, switching to...

Don't forget to focus on the finer points and details of technologies and services related to Linux and its software - such as configuration parameters, system architecture, package management, fine-tuning, and so on. I came across some questions exploring aspects that aren't heavily highlighted...

Initially, I obtained certifications like Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA R&S, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and Furukawa FCP simply to meet the requirements of the institution where I teach. However, due to some uncertainties in my current...

Thanks to @Stephen Schneiter and everyone else who replied. I took the Linux+ exam today (and passed). I plan to get other CompTIA certifications (especially AutoOps+ and Data+), but I need to keep an eye on the certifications I already hold that are about to expire (AWS Architect Associate...

Good afternoon, CINers! I would like to know if there is any issue with not using most of the certification exam vouchers we received for participating in the TTT training sessions. I am proud to be a CIN member, and if it were up to me, I would have a wide range of CompTIA certifications in my...

I already tried the trick of scheduling the exam for a date before it expired and then rescheduling it for later. The platform simply wouldn't accept it... ;-D

Me too! I lost two vouchers granted by CIN, and because of that, obtaining this certification has become a matter of honor! ;-D

I have earned the CompTIA Tech+ certification. And I would like to take this opportunity to thank CompTIA and its managers for their support. Thank you very much! ;-D

Congratulations! &;-D

I believe that external teaching materials (those not part of the official course) should only be used for supplementary purposes. Students should be aware that the topics covered may not be aligned with the certification requirements, not to mention the possibility that such approaches may be...

We also face this dilemma here in Brazil. Some educational institutions don't offer CompTIA courses precisely because they lack local language translations (at most, the "IT Essentials" course on the Netacad platform). In fact, wouldn't it be interesting to focus exam translations only on the...

Would it still be possible to get a voucher or discount for the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam? I even took the webinars last year and received the voucher, but due to other priorities I ended up letting time pass and it expired. I plan to take the exam later this year. Thanks for any help or...

I also have A+, Network+ and Security+ (except CySA+). I'm also facing the dilemma of renewing my certifications, as I would like to get Cloud+, Linux+ and Server+, but these are not included in the renewal of Security+ or any other certification above it. Having to get 2 (or more)...

In the latest reformulation of the certification portfolio, Cisco redefined the equipment needed to conduct practical laboratory activities and, as far as I remember, it includes "only" two routers, two switches and an access point, in addition to the cables and workstations. I believe that...

I received my voucher, kept it safe and due to other obligations, I ended up forgetting about it (it expired). I regret it to this day... &;-D
