Passionate about education and community impact, he founded The Ginger Hacker Initiative, a nonprofit organization focused on helping individuals break into cybersecurity through mentorship, scholarships, and hands-on training opportunities. Andrew has dedicated his career to bridging the gap between aspiring professionals and the cybersecurity workforce, offering guidance on certifications, career pathways, and real-world skill development. Beyond his military and professional work, Andrew is a creator and educator who runs the GingerHacker YouTube channel and “Breaking Into Cyber” interview series, featuring voices from across the industry to inspire and inform newcomers. His mission is simple: to make cybersecurity education accessible, foster collaboration across communities, and help the next generation of cyber professionals thrive.
