Xpert Series - DataX and CloudNetX

Yeah, pretty sure I just drew the easy questions, lol. I had one PBQ that was interesting and fairly challenging. Most of the rest of the exam was a much lower level than I had anticipated with only a few questions that seemed to equal the challenge level of AWS's SAA exam.

Xpert Series - DataX and CloudNetX

I've taken AWS's Solutions Architect Associate exam, and I wouldn't say it was comparable. That's more what I was expecting, but I might've gotten all the easy CloudNetX questions, lol. Maybe the harder CloudNetX questions that I somehow didn't get would hit at about the Associate level for...

    New cert: SecOT+

Anyone heard of this one yet? I don't see draft objectives posted on the CompTIA site yet. Definitely interested in more info! https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/new-comptia-certification-will-target-critical-cybersecurity-skills-in-operational-technology-302453975.html

Xpert Series - DataX and CloudNetX

I got the impression CloudNetX was basically a blend of Net+ and Cloud+ with very little covered outside the existing scope of those two, lower level exams. Whereas with SecurityX, it seems to be a bit more of a higher level exam--a jump above PenTest+/CySA+. But I took the CloudNetX beta, so it...

Me too! I've wanted a good excuse to stay at the Gaylord Opryland since I first visited in the early 90s.

    Tech + exam

No, in this case, it was not a "best answer" question. It was written as, which of these is true? I don't want to go into more detail to avoid giving too much information. But the way the question was worded, it was not about a judgment call at all. I'm very familiar with those. This one was...

PDF Files for A+ and Security+ Course Outlines?

They post a PDF or Word transcript of the entire course for ADA accessibility purposes. It's in the instructor resources list. I just found out about this last week because one of my students needed it. Click on Resources, and then look under Reference for Accessibility Document.

    Tech + exam

There was one question on mine that I am absolutely certain was wrong. It had two options that were correct (not just in my opinion, but the technology mentioned absolutely applied to both options), but only one could be selected.

    Ohhh... another new cert! Autocode+

I think this is typical of new CompTIA certs. At first, I get the impression the scope is a little misguided, but through later iterations, the exam matures significantly (probably due to high-quality feedback) and eventually shifts to a much more appropriate scope. I noticed this with Cloud+...

    Ohhh... another new cert! Autocode+

Pre-draft objectives are posted for a shiny new cert: Autocode+. And based on its exam code, I'm wondering if this might be the beginnings of a new cert pathway?? I'm not a coder, but this one looks like fun! Link, and scroll down under the Pre-Draft Exam Objectives section...
