FYI... as Rick points out, some companies require you to be certified by them to teach their courses. I teach Cisco classes, to do this I had to become a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor (CCSI). This requires you to go to Cisco and take a 2 day exam. Day 1 is technical presentations on CCNA...

Just a quick, although late, update. The official answer from Comptia is both exams must be from the same series. It took Comptia 6 days to respond, but at least we have clarity.

This may be too easy of a question, but could a person pass the old 1001 exam and then pass the new 1102 exam and get their A+ ?
