I bring over 10 years of experience in business administration. I started my IT/Cybersecurity journey in 2023 when I went back to school for Cybersecurity. I have my Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), CompTIA Security+, and Fortinet Cybersecurity Fundamentals credentials. I currently serve with CyRoot LLC, where we provide IT and cybersecurity services, and I also manage CyRoot Academy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to workforce development in the technical fields.
Our Academy focuses on delivering affordable technical education, hands-on training, and job placement support for military members, veterans, spouses, and underserved communities. We recently launched courses ranging from CompTIA A+ and Security+ to IT Project Management and beyond.
I’m passionate about helping individuals build the skills they need to transition into tech and cybersecurity careers, and I’m excited to connect, learn, and share best practices with fellow instructors here in the CompTIA Instructor’s Network.
