I have been an IT Trainer/Tutor for over 20 years in the Private, Public and Education Sectors, most recently in the Further Education sector creating content and teaching Level 3 and 4 IT & Software apprenticeship standards and Bootcamp's & Traineeships. I am currently the Head of Training for BPP Education Group managing our fantastic L3 & L4 Tutors in the School of Technology and Estio.

I have a real passion for teaching and helping Student’s become the best that they can be whilst using new and exciting Digital methods to deliver my sessions.

I was one of the 1st people in the UK be Certified as a Nearpod Certified Educator and Distance Learning Expert. I am also a certified Microsoft Innovative Trainer, Flipgrid Trainer, Kahoot! Educator and a Certifed Tutor with Cisco where I deliver courses on the Cisco Networking Academy.

I also have MBCS membership with BCS The Charted Institute for IT.

I studied Internet Computing and Computer Animation at the University of Hull before moving on to gaining my Teaching Certificate.

In my spare time (not that I have much with having 3 Children!) I am contracted with EA Sports as an Editor on the now EAFC (formally FIFA) Franchise of games where I am responsible for the Players appearance and attributes in game, from several teams in the English Leagues including Sheffield Wednesday FC, Chesterfield FC, the Lionesses (England Women) and the England National Team. I have also worked with NCFE developing content for Digital Qualifications.
