This is a big one for my GovTech students. I hope they added some hands-on practical this time around. If I have one more student tell me about a brain dump I'm going to crash out. :eek:

I dropped Windows years ago and never looked back. I only use it by force for servers or cloud stuff and if necessary at work. Outside of that. Window$ is dead in my own personal ecosystem.

It looks like all these multiple-choice hero's are in for a rude awakening. I actually heavily prefer hands-on tasks over multiple choice so I hope it increases. I can't stand multiple choice focused exams. PBQ's are way harder to cheat so that will disrupt that exam for you pump and dump...

I never...ever...would take a test at home after the fiasco I went through with an online proctor for an AWS exam years ago. It was a damn nightmare. Ever since I have been going to test centers in person. It has been a breeze. I will never do one online unless absolutely forced.

Exactly correct! I spend SO MANY YEARS when I first got into IT in 2007 playing certification Pac-Man only to realize that it was absolutely a waste of my time. I'm horrified how many VMware Certifications I focused on and the platform is mostly dead now.

Unless your going to get paid for it. I wouldn't recommend doing certifications "just because". If there is a company hiring a certain skill or your doing consulting and their required for a certain job. Ok, but just getting certs for the sake of it. It's a waste of money and time...time being...
