I checked with the Product team and they said that the certification is under review. There is not been any decision made yet about the update. So, stay tuned, we will post an update as soon as they let us know. At least they know folks are interested in seeing it updated.
I think with all the change-over at CompTIA, integration with TestOut, the roll of Certmaster Perform, and all the other initiatives in play, the 'forever' certs haven't been getting much updating.
And that's just fine from my perspective, since Server+ hasn't really changed that much since 2021 in terms of content.
Are there specific updates as far as material that your students looking to see - or are they just seeing that it's 3 years old now and thinking it might be on that CE update cycle?

Got this one close to 20 years ago now, when the were for life certs. I moved to take then Security, Pentest, CySA and last month CASP+.... Will be cool to take this exam again.
