CertMaster Learn A+ Competency Assessments?

In the new CompTIA Learn A+ Core 1 and Core 2 Course Guide and Transition Mappings on page 4, the document addresses competency assessments available that instructors can use as a comprehensive, skills-based final exam for students in each core.

What are the specifics regarding this assessment? Where can instructors access assessment scores and certificates for our records? Is there a cost per student? Do students have to schedule themselves? Can they take the assessments in class? Any other details would be greatly appreciated! :) Thank you!

For the CompTIA Learn and Perform A+ Core 1 and Core 2 courses, there will be two competency assessments available, one for Competency in IT Hardware and Network Support, and one for Competency in IT Software and Systems Support. Each exam will have 15 questions (lab simulations) with a time limit of 1 hour. The competency assessments are scheduled by an instructor or institution admin for students or classes under the Class Assessments tab in the CertMaster platform. Classes associated to the assessment domain will be listed under each competency assessment available for your institution. For each class, you will see the option to schedule the exam, view individual scores, and view statistics. As students pass the exam, you will see the option to download a Certificate of Competency under the More button. There is no added cost for these assessments and instructors may reschedule the exams multiple times. Because these assessments are scheduled through the CertMaster platform, students can take the exam wherever they have access to CertMaster including in class. Any other questions regarding the competency assessments?
