Hi,We have an ongoing training and we need a certified Comptia Security X instructor with a deep knowledge of HacktheBox modules for penetration testing
Thank you MarkI see the phrase "a certified Comptia Security X instructor" with certified in bold. CompTIA does not certify instructors. CompTIA certifies product knowledge. Vetting instructors' presentation skills and product knowledge are something you, the client, do with your own mechanisms.
Does the PenTest+ covers any Security + module? or maybe i'll look for someone that has taken the certification for both (Security + and PenTest +)Hi,
I think it could be better if the instructor you're looking for is PenTest+ certified.

Security X does not cover penetration testing. Hope it helps.
Yes, CompTIA PenTest+ builds upon foundational knowledge from Security+, covering similar security concepts but from an offensive, hands-on penetration testing perspective, validating skills in vulnerability management and ethical hacking. While Security+ covers broader security fundamentals (defensive), PenTest+ dives deeper into identifying, exploiting, and reporting vulnerabilities across various environments like cloud, web apps, and IoT.Does the PenTest+ covers any Security + module? or maybe i'll look for someone that has taken the certification for both (Security + and PenTest +)
