Access Computer Training (ACT) | Lutz, FL | 1099 Contract | On-site, with potential for remote

Access Computer Training is a licensed post-secondary IT/Cybersecurity certification training school in Lutz, FL. For over 12 years we've helped adult learners, including veterans and workforce-funded students, earn industry certifications and launch IT careers. We're looking for experienced, certified instructors whose students complete their training and pass their exams.

Courses

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA CySA+
• CompTIA PenTest+
• CompTIA Cloud+

You don't need to teach all six. Tell us which ones you're qualified for.

Schedule and location

• 20 hours per week to start, Monday through Thursday
• Class times are flexible; we'll work with your availability
• On-site at our Lutz campus, with potential for remote teaching for some cohorts

What you'll do

• Deliver live, instructor-led classes
• Prepare students to pass CompTIA certification exams with hands-on labs and real-world examples
• Push students to get certified within 90 days of completing their course, so they can move into job placement quickly
• Track attendance, grade assignments, and record student progress
• Support career changers, adults new to IT, and veterans

Requirements

• Current CompTIA certification in each course you'll teach
• At least 2 years of training and mentoring experience
• At least 2 years of practical, hands-on experience in the field you are teaching
• A verifiable average student exam pass rate, supported by reports from previous employers or 2–3 references we can contact
• Supervisor references from your two most recent teaching positions
• Reliable commute to Lutz, FL

Pay

• $40/hour (1099 independent contractor)
• $100 bonus for each exam your students pass within 90 days of completing your course. A+ students taking both Core 1 and Core 2 earn you $200 per student.
