For me, it is 1992 onward, with WordPerfect 5.1 and MS Excel v3.0. They could end up with a Master's Degree holder who is not fully versed in modern technologies :rolleyes:
I choose Stephen's option A. (cover as you come across... I had an impromptu session on subnetting. Not sure why they were in Security+ if they couldn't grasp subnetting a class C network or explaining the reserved IP address ranges.

Is the morning session really running for 10 minutes while the afternoon session runs for 30 minutes?
I'm thinking...yes. Let's reopen the topic. CompTIA is not doing students justice by springing their exclusive terms on exams even though students cannot find them elsewhere.
When did CompTIA change IPS to AIPS and IDS to PIDS? Will anybody else in the industry redo their acronyms? Our industry embraces Man-in-the-Middle and DMZ while CompTIA tries implementing inclusive substitute verbiage.
As a PenTest+ holder, I see little activity from those training PenTest+ or pursuing training opportunities of PenTest+. Seems PenTest+ gets upstaged by Security+. Can CompTIA put some marketing muscle behind the PenTest+ certification and training opportunities?
