I would propose a more important question, IMO, "What curriculum appeals to you more?" This will determine which cert you pursue first, what you think about at 2 AM and what doors you want the training to open for you. :cool:

This is the first time I've heard of ACTE CareerTech Vision. Their marketing must not be as strong as what we see for other conferences :unsure:.

I have seen this time ambiguity with other posts. We surely are an international community :cool: . I'd say...everyone posting gig opportunities here should initially disclose the time zones and the start/end times in those time zones.

MFA does not have to involve looking at the phone. I use Twilio Authy and have the app running on both my phone and my desktop computer. If I am at my desktop and get the MFA prompt, I just switch to the Authy app on the desktop and view the code.

I'd say they are trying to further leverage the word "Security." I agree...CompTIA will have a lot of work updating the CASP+ brand/requirement to SecurityX.

The newness will come in the form of new certifications. For example, somebody may write a book on AI and try offering certifications on AI. It will be a completely new certification and revenue stream for whomever can publish current curriculum and exams. That of course will be the challenge...

Three years is too aggressive IMO. I am training Security+ v6 and taking the Security+ v7 Train the Trainer. More than 80% of the content is the same.

I believe we have finished six lessons out of 11. Other threads listed the start date.

How would ISACA and the others validate work history for someone who is self-employed?
