Here's a question along the same line as Gregory's. Are you taking cert exams just to get more certifications, or are you gaining them to qualify for a promotion or to advance your career in some other way?
Some vendors are passing out free $1200 tickets to ChannelCon. Looks like a more general audience than the Partner Conference. I had to pay for my Partner Conference ticket. Some sessions overlap. The Wednesday morning keynote is part of both conferences.
Will this be in-person or remote?
Which certification(s) will the students be pursuing?
What training tools will the students access?
When do you want to start?
What is the frequency of training?
This is something we covered in my A+ train the trainer. I can understand why master/slave is offensive. Replacing that makes perfect sense. I don’t see the offense with DMZ. Do we assume our students did not study military conflicts in high school?
I am training Security+ now. My prep involves adding 10% of content to the slideshow and hiding 10% of the inherited slides. All in all, the volume of slides turns out about the same.
A client just asked me to train Security+ 3 hours/day, 3 days/week. Students already finished the A+ course. The Presentation Planner charts an 8-week Seminar structure. Is an 8-week timeline feasible with 9 hours/week?
