I agree with the above but keep in mind that having the A+ cert says nothing whatsoever about being able to teach it. Many times the best person to explain something to a confused student is another student who just learned the concept and still remembers what it was like before understanding...

I think taking your first CompTIA exam is like your first time going off the high diving board. The build up is more stressful than actually doing, but the result is exhilarating! & When you get home you need to figure out how to settle down & start working on the next one!

Yes, have found out the hard way many things, not just CompTIA learning, means "as of 0:01 on stated day is expired". The only exception has been TTT vouchers, thankfully. I just took both A+ exams on the expiration date of July 18. :p

Considering that several notable instructors are retiring and there are always new ones who NEED this kind of training I was pretty surprised to hear this as well.

Unless they send you an email 2 days before your exam is scheduled to cancel it after you scheduled it for the day your voucher expires.

I wish we could. There really isn't anything out there for IT instructors. A while back they did a mini TTT for the CTT but they didn't offer any vouchers. I was pretty surprised to see they decided to pull the plug on it.

@Hemlock You are in luck. I think they realized that a lot of us would not be able to do this until the semester is over. I just saw they extended the dates for both the exam & getting the videos in.
