    Multiple CertMaster accounts?

Alright, so... I changed the email I use to access the CompTIA SSO to my university email address. But now when I try to access my CertMaster materials when logged in through SSO, I get "There was an error logging you in." Then when trying to just log directly into learn.comptia.org with my new...

Cool, I'll give that a try and report back on how it worked. Thanks!

    Multiple CertMaster accounts?

Asking this as a student, rather than as an instructor... I have a CertMaster account under my personal e-mail address, where I access my CertMaster CE and TTT/Instructor Guide materials. I'm also starting a bachelor's program which uses CertMaster, and I just received an email to my university...

Hypothetical question re: beta vs. soon-retiring exams

Yeah, earning CEUs by other (less expensive) means is the way to go if at all possible.

Hypothetical question re: beta vs. soon-retiring exams

Let's say someone takes a beta exam in January. They then take the soon-to-be retired version of the same exam in March before they even get the result of the beta in May. What are the possible scenarios? Does anyone know for sure? (It's not entirely hypothetical. Someone on reddit said they're...

    I still waiting for my Linux+, DATA+, Project+ Vouchers

I was just coming here to see about the Linux+ vouchers as well. I'm glad it's not just me! People have side-hustles! ? When I first joined CIN, my primary job was teaching CompTIA certs in the classroom. Since then, I've moved onto an engineering position with Cisco as my primary gig, but I...

A+ certified x2 (GFL+CE), and just 25 years between them!

I'm actually in the 002/003 club! ? (I dunno why they were numbered like that then.)

    A+ Classroom Length

In my former setting, I taught a ten-week A+ course. Five weeks for Core 1, five weeks for Core 2. M-Th 7 hrs and Fri 3 hrs.

A+ certified x2 (GFL+CE), and just 25 years between them!

Got my 1102 TTT voucher on Thursday afternoon and took the exam at pretty much my first opportunity--which happened to be this morning at 12:45 am. ? Passed with a 761 after just a quick run-through of all of the practice questions on the Official Instructor Guide. I didn't go too hard with...

    Linux+ TTT series

I just looked and the exact same thing appears to have happened to me. One workaround that worked for me is to use the links that were emailed to me in order to access the individual sessions. This definitely needs to be fixed, though.

Passed 220-1101 last night and now chomping (champing?) at the bit for 1102!

My own experience is probably a little different than some. Like I said, from January to June of this year, I was in the classroom teaching the previous version of A+ every day (which included coaching my students on how to take the exam), so I found this material pretty second nature. Last time...

Passed 220-1101 last night and now chomping (champing?) at the bit for 1102!

I generally try to avoid onVue as well, but the testing centers nearest me didn't have appointments available for another couple of weeks, and I just wanted to get it out of the way. I was aware of the usual onVue pitfalls and did my best to avoid them. (For instance, using an external webcam on...

Passed 220-1101 last night and now chomping (champing?) at the bit for 1102!

It honestly felt much easier than expected (mostly in comparison to the Official Study Guide and the accompanying assessments). I got three PBQs: one on wifi configuration, one on printer troubleshooting, and one on properly terminating/connecting cables. The multiple choice questions felt like...

Passed 220-1101 last night and now chomping (champing?) at the bit for 1102!

Took Core 1 last night at home with an 8:30p exam time. I taught the 1000 series for a non-profit from January until June of this year as a full-time instructor and now I'm with that same non-profit as a part-time IT tutor. I currently hold the Net+ CE and Sec+ CE certs, plus A+ GFL from 1998...

One of my A+ students just passed 220-1001 with a score of...

...881. ??? You guys have all been at this longer than I have, so you might've seen scores like that before, but it's a first for me. I can't really take credit bc he's literally smarter than I am, but I'm proud nonetheless.
