AI and Its Impact on Test Preparation

Google Gemini and ChatGPT are excellent for both studying and also monetizing practice questions. This is true for AWS, GCP, FinOps, Databricks, etc. Honestly, it saves me hours of time and all I have to do is read and confirm it grammatically correct. Of course, Grammarly does that good too...

How often do you teach each of the CompTIA courses per year?

Honestly, its seems like its been one heck of a slow year so far. I may have to get a real job again:) I know after the "Doge efforts" I have seen content viewing drop by almost 40% -60% on Udemy, O'Reilly and Go1. Advice for people soliciting for trainers

Exactly, I don't even consider responding to most of these requests for these reasons. As much as I like to help, doing these "little gigs" for training and content overall is not profitable most of the time, so spending more time with these requests does not make sense.

    Cloud Essentials+ retires on September 25, 2025

Well that's a surprise. I was under the impression that was a solid seller. But I could see the Cloud + would take its thunder away, I was a CompTIA SME for both the first iteration Cloud Essentials and Cloud + exams and its a shame to see that one go.

    CompTIA AI Certification Status?

I had a few students ask about CompTIA AI certs. This one caught me off guard since I missed this AI notification, beta tests, etc. I've seen a few posts, but I'm not sure I understand the mission here with CompTIA. It seems like CompTIA is going to release an "AI Essentials exam," but I admit...

Advice for people soliciting for trainers

Totally, agreed. So tired of these companies asking for instructors with no real description of anything. Personally, I look at these posts as no more than "fishing" exercises.
