CIN will be sunsetting the official CIN app! The app will be turned off on Saturday, August 1st. Thank you to everyone who used the app to post updates. It just was not adopted as much as hoped.
Welcome and a special congrats for finding this particular thread. I can imagine that it's buried deep in the core of CIN these days, but no matter - it's great to have you here, Josh. Feel free to chime in on what you see in the community - always good to see new faces!

I think this is probably the solution. I do believe that CompTIA can work with extenuating circumstances - although I can also see something like this getting abused very quickly.
It was about the same thing for SecurityX. I attended and developed training, plus accounted for cyber work experience for my renewal. I think the X certs are probably going to all be that way. /r
I don't think anyone is going to find it because CompTIA isn't going to release that information. To be honest, I believe any of those 'de-facto' answers are speculative at best. Only thing I can suggest is if someone who had that information was let go last year during the great buyout purge...
Sorry to hear about your test fail - that is very discouraging and disappointing, no doubt. Hopefully, you don't give up - but rather, keep at it.
If you just bought the first voucher straight, rather than the voucher+retake bundle, then probably not likely. If you are part of an Academic...
Mitch: I think your best point settles on student empathy. You can be the very best trainer in the world and carry an encyclopedic knowledge of the course material and 15 years history before that...
...and still suck as an instructor.
In fact, I have a Top Ten somewhere in my files "The Top...
I would, again, start with your Business Development Manager and perhaps look into becoming an Authorized Partner. (https://partners.comptia.org). It might be more difficult if you're just a single person doing something, vs perhaps being a business entity, but that's perhaps how I would get...
Well, there are groups out there, such as the Network of Experts and SME's that develop all their native content.
Did you get a direct notification about the use of your material from CompTIA or are you saying this from a general perspective?
Perhaps the way to go about this is to discuss it with a Business Development Manager. Not sure who that might be for you or your business but that would be the best liaison for that soft of thing.

While I, myself, have taken plenty of practice exams, mostly because I do better solving problems, I can also say that, unless it's some kind of weird brain-dump, I've never seen practice tests that are on the level with cert testing. Most practice exams seem to settle on Cognitive Blooms 1 to...
One of the things I do for myself working in private sector Higher Ed is have credentials and certifications, not just in what I teach, but in general education practice. For example, schools that are affiliated with the CECU, educators have the ability to earn a credential called CHEP or...
I would say they are loosely competing products, sure. If you do a comparison, I'd say write that up for the folks out here so we can see your thoughts on what you found.
Generally in the CIN, we follow the three-year model for certs. While it does take some research on a cert to go back to when it came out (or a quick ask to your favorite AI), we can usually predict when a new cert is scheduled out. For example, Network+ N10-009 dropped in the summer of 2024...
