Considering that several notable instructors are retiring and there are always new ones who NEED this kind of training I was pretty surprised to hear this as well.

Unless they send you an email 2 days before your exam is scheduled to cancel it after you scheduled it for the day your voucher expires.

I wish we could. There really isn't anything out there for IT instructors. A while back they did a mini TTT for the CTT but they didn't offer any vouchers. I was pretty surprised to see they decided to pull the plug on it.

@Hemlock You are in luck. I think they realized that a lot of us would not be able to do this until the semester is over. I just saw they extended the dates for both the exam & getting the videos in.

I have also had issues with macOS taking exams on Pearson as well as other platforms. I recommend going live but I saw your issue about timing. You could also borrow/rent a Windows PC to take the at home exams.

Not sure but my last command accidentally shut down the VM, so I am pretty sure I got zero points for that question. I still passed.

No the VM question does not appear on the review screen and you can NOT restart it. Before starting the exam, it DOES tell you that any VM questions can NOT be reset or reattempted. Am almost sure that just before it started I also got a notice telling me that only one attempt was allowed.

I took both the CySA+ & CASP+ in the last 2 weeks of December & with the specific exception of any VM questions (which they TELL YOU during the exam you cannot reset/redo), all of the regular multiple choice questions AND the regular PBQs where able to be marked for review and gone back to...

Same answer I would have given had it not happened to be the first TTT I was able to fully participate in. It's not a requirement for teaching it but I think it is helpful to have experienced any cert exam you are teaching, regardless of level.

Signed up for CySA+ beta 003 Jan 3 just in case I failed the 002 Dec 20th. In the end I passed & am certified as of then, plus it renewed everything. Taking the beta for experience but its a lot more fun when a cert isn't hanging on it. Just want to see how different it is.

No. A voucher exam can only be used to test up to the date on the voucher. Cisco & apparently CompTIA also sells (or did at one time) something called a coupon which uses a 2 step process. First you convert the coupon (good for 365 days) to a voucher by the date on the coupon. Those vouchers...

I used primarily Dion's course & study resource & passed today. Passed the CySA+ last week too which clearly helped.
