imsrj.cse,
So I imagine you are running the course so that students work through the reading and practice on their own time and your ILT meetings are focused on the labs.
In that learning environment I'd suggest taking some time at the start of the day and after lunch to introduce topics...
YES. THIS -> "The success I'm seeing is when candidates focus on being real and human during the interviews and telling their story. ". Thank you dalexander!
Lucky for me that I am no longer out there seeking employment. I'm often accused of being horribly long winded. But I too work with...
Hello CyberPappy,
If you are an authorized training partner you'll have access to the latest CertMaster Learn & Lab materials. That's one route to follow.
I delivered the SY0-701 TTT and I (full disclosure) I am a CompTIA employee. Is there anything in particular topic that you need...

I use this particular vulnerability as an example of how to research a CVE. In this instance CVE-2020-10188

The last Linux+ TTT was XK0-005, which finished up in June 2024. I wouldn't expect the next one until 2027. Check the Resources section for the recordings.
Products like Trend Micro allow an admin to define a forward proxy as a gateway device and send web URLs to the cloud for filtering. There are more reverse proxy products and services that are deployed in front of servers for load balancing and offloading TLS termination from servers.
Forward proxies used to be set in web browsers. Products like these were used in schools and libraries to filter content and anonymize student browsing.
The short story is that there is a process to be followed. The Security+ SY0-701 exam was being developed when the TestOut acquisition happened. It was in my opinion way too far along (and too important to CompTIA) to try and wait for a work in progress merged platform. Having participated in...
I studied for and earned Cloud Essentials+ back when it was first offered. I had been preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and was ready to set the date when I learned of Essentials. I took both on the same day and passed both. In my opinion, Cloud Essentials was the better exam...
Yes. I believe that this new course will cover the Purdue Model for ICS.

I've also heard good things about https://www.cloudrangecyber.com/ but this seems a corporate training solution. They have a number of courses targeted at different cyber roles.
The Virginia Cyber Range is a Commonwealth of Virginia initiative with a mission to enhance cybersecurity education for students in the Commonwealth’s public high schools, colleges, and universities. Governor McAuliffe proposed the Virginia Cyber Range in the spring of 2016 as part of his vision...

I'd suggest submitting the most advanced course that you teach. I submit my CySA+ time at CompTIA. I've also successfully submitted CASP+ and CISSP 1::1 training hours and mentoring at ISC2. The key to 1::1 and mentoring CEUs is...
I suggest that you have, at minimum, the dates you taught and the name and point of contact (email) for the organization that sponsored or offered the class. I try to submit a syllabus or course agenda slide as an upload.
Which exam are you referring to, Jeff? I believe that you are allowed to proctor the Tech+ exam as an instructor. According to the rules laid out by CompTIA and Pearson, instructors for any other course are not allowed to proctor exams.
