Stanford Code In Place is open again this year!

@Rick Butler, I applied to be a volunteer section leader again. I was a section leader in the 2021 program. We had a very good group with average of 4.7 out of 5 ratings. (I wish we had digital badging back then. However, we received a PDF section leader participation certificate via email). In...

One CIN human with multiple email addresses

@Stephen Schneiter I am not certain if my account was recently merged due to the SSO implementation. The TTT training products that I previously had access to have now all been "expired". To my knowledge, I had access for twelve months from redemption using the respective access keys. It has...

    Cloudflare is driving me crazy

My posts are my own original thoughts. :) Of course, my intelligence has been artificial since I did "Call -151" on my 6502 Apple ][+. The link provided earlier has insightful information on the landing page. In particular, the "What is your latency to our network? - Run test" is a very good...

    Cloudflare is driving me crazy

Use of a content delivery network (CDN) like Cloudfare is modern, typical, and generally improves the user web experience. Cloudflare is driving me crazy

This Cloudfare article, Gathering information for troubleshooting sites, may help our fellow CIN'ers outside the USA to assist in resolving the issue. For example, this link, https://cin.comptia.org/cdn-cgi/trace , will identify the Cloudfare data center serving the user request. Cheers, Carnegie

TTT Soap Box: Breaking the Ice!

I use personal introduction and participants introductions to break the ice for the cohort. I share relevant information from my career experience to establish credibility. And, as part of the intro survey I ask open ended questions like, "What do you want to get out of this course?"

What electronic drawing tablet do CIN members recommend to teach with?

My preferred combination is Surface, OneNote, and multiple monitors (3 works best). I share the presentation screen/monitor (a 1920x1080 monitor) and fast switch windows back and forth onto the shared presentation monitor. Kind regards, Carnegie
