I took the exam last summer, (passed!) using the book as the primary resource, I had purchased it about 4 years ago. The teaching / training vocabulary & concepts are still pretty good basis for thinking about the classroom / virtual experience.

In case you'd like to save a bit of money, that books is available on o'Reilly Learning (prev. Safari Books). By having a subscription with them you get access to hundreds of books and video trainings, including the CTT+ study guide.

Yeah I think that's gone. Probably because of licensing and/or because CTT+ is being phased out.
