I've had the opportunity to perform live data migrations using Proxmox VE in a high-availability environment where we were consolidating multiple virtual machines onto a new storage cluster. One use case was during a migration from local storage to a Ceph-based distributed storage solution. Proxmox's live migration allowed us to move VMs without any downtime, ensuring business continuity for a client’s critical financial application. The smooth transition and real-time sync of data across nodes was a standout feature, particularly in minimizing disruption for users during the migration.
