Also, here's a link back to
RJ Sak's Train the Trainer for DataSys+ from last year. I've finally gotten around to where I am working on this (between CTT, MS900, and SC900 and work getting in the way...), If you spin up one of those, and go into the resources area, you can see the objectives and such. Book/CM content won't be available - you'll have to see your Business Development Manager for that.
No, no free voucher if you finish...
Essentially, this is a primer on essential skills for being a DBA. You should be conversant in the types of databases out there, how they are used, why they are used, how to put them into operation, maintain, and secure them. You won't have a huge amount of SQL code knowledge, but you'll need to know the major commands and basic syntax. As for Security, if you have the Sec+, you should have enough knowledge to get you through most all security questions - just know that they will be tilted towards securing a database.
And just to make this post annoyingly longer, the short list on Domains:
1.0 Database Fundamentals
2.0 Database Deployment
3.0 Database Management and Maintenance
4.0 Data and Database Security
5.0 Business Continuity
