AI and the Future of Us airs on ABC on September 12, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET. See
Oprah Interview for more. In case you’re wondering, they will explore AI’s impact on our lives. Alright fellow CompTIA instructors, if you were writing Oprah’s questions, what would you ask?

Here are the questions perplexity suggested. These began at a 6th-grade reading level before I polished them:
- How do you think robots and computers will change our everyday lives in the next 10 years?
- What are some big problems that companies developing AI face, and how are they fixing them?
- Can you tell us about a time when smart machines helped solve a big problem in the world? What did you learn from it?
- How do you make sure that making new smart machines is safe and follows rules?
- How could AI change how we learn in school, and what might be some bad things about that?
- How can we make sure everyone can use smart machines, not just some people?
- What are you doing to keep people’s information safe as smart machines get used more?
- How do you think smart machines will change jobs, and how can people get ready for these changes?
- How can robots and computers help with big world problems like climate change and health?
- How can we talk about smart machines in a way that includes everyone’s ideas and worries?
