Passed- CompTIA SecurityX Certification Exam(CAS-005)

Hello Ciners :D

I took the exam last night Onvue from home

My Experience

As usual with most CompTIA exams started with some time wasting performance based questions( drag and drop- click) then moved on with multichoice to pick one or 2 options

I had a Linux virtual machine lab( the machine loads and you are given some questions to answer- username/password given and given a task to perform)

above was between at about 30 question mark -- total exam question was 84 questions

Was a thorough exam though - prep material was basically the CertPerform material and test question available there -

Prepared in about 7-8 days back to back study -

The result isnt shown at the end of the exam ( you will be told this at the beginning) - its also a Pass/Fail exam - no score

At the end of the exam - once you check up your exam history from PearsonVue you can see if you passed/failed..

normally as usual your credly badge comes in about 12hrs or so after exam is concluded

All the best.

I'm presently reviewing Dion's SecurityX offering - I got about 3/4 way through the CertMaster before my key from TTT expired. Activated it and got busy. But the thing I've noted is, for me, the Udemy offering gives me an audio listening component, where CertMaster doesn't do this (which allows me to listen while driving).

I'll probably do my re-test in December - too much on the plate to focus on it right now. lol
