XK-006 is coming in the future

I've already warned my school that if XK0-006 turns out the way it looks right now, I'm advising we move to a competing examination for our annual Linux classes. We need to stay on-focus.
Based on a number of factors, I'm advising my school to quit Linux+ after we're done with this cohort.

We'll switch to LFCS instead.

We may also look for a replacement for Tech+, depending on the outcomes with our current cohort and their trainer's opinion.

@Gregory Childers : how did your beta go, on the 25th?

As per my last post I was hoping to switch my students to LFCS, but after discussing it with the school I realised I hadn't accounted for one big factor: proctoring.

LFCS is online proctored online. Our students are neurodivergent and it is extremely stressful for them to be forced to sit still and be perfectly silent for 1-2 hours. Meanwhile, the school is both a CompTIA partner (discounted vouchers) and a PearsonVue test center. The school is a safe environment to take the Linux+ exam.

So... I guess I'll stick with XK0-006, even though I really dislike it compared to XK0-005.

I had 119 questions with 4 PBQs. Quite honestly, I liked the 005 better. Some of the multiple-choice questions were entirely too long for the topics they were testing. I also agree that they added too many topics that were not Linux specific. I'm well aware of AI and tools like Docker and Ansible, but they seem out of place on the exam.
