Congrats!
Let me guess - TTT voucher expiring soon and had to write it?
I was in the same boat.
So I booked and passed N10-008 today too :)
I wrote in a physical testing center, which is always a great experience (no more online testing for me thankyouverymuch).
yes, you are right

I like the fact that you have the choice of an online or test centre. I like the test centre but travelling to the test centre sometimes is not possible due to the distance to my local centre.

That choice is nice, especially in those cases where travelling is too far/costly/cumbersome.
For me, I live within 15 minutes of a few testing centres, which brings the decision down to which experience I prefer.
And yesterday reminded me - quite clearly - that I most certainly do not prefer some online proctor on a power trip threatening me every few minutes that they'll stop my exam because my face was too close to the screen or they saw my lips silently move while reading a question.

Some can be funny with the lips and too close to the screen I have had it a few times

I have taken more than a dozen exams online and have never experienced that. In fact, I've only had contact with one proctor during that time and that was because a photo I had taken of the room where I was testing was blurry. They have never interacted with me during the exam.

That is good, and you have definitely been lucky in those regards. Unfortunately, I haven't enjoyed the same experience.

It's been such an issue with the students across all of the campuses in our college that it has been brought up on faculty calls. We've had students pass their first exam (usually A+) and vow never to write another certification exam because of their experience. Our solution was to identify the possibility of this happening for remotely-proctored certifications with OnVUE and choose to not recommend OnVUE over a physical testing center to minimize the friction that students will encounter and encourage them to write more certifications.

I think a while back, Tess had a thread about the same issues somewhere here. It may have been deleted since (because I can't find it), but I seem to remember a lot of CINners noted similar issues, and with their students too.
