Now that the pandemic is done, test takers should set a higher priority to take tests onsite. Thank you @Michael Schmitz and @jgoodrich for sharing. I can add this to my list :geek: of reasons in favor of onsite testing.

Potential employers should ask candidates how they received their cert. If the candidate did a 5-day boot camp, you can bet retention has fallen to 20%. If the candidate did self-study or a well-paced multi-week course, the retention and hireability are much higher. CompTIA needs to publish more...

I did not get past step 1 in their interview process. Even though I started training Excel, WordPerfect and Word in the early 1990s, the criteria must be too strict for someone with 30 years’ experience. What does someone have to do to advance in their interview process?
Responding to 1) (above), the instructor should lead the class and be able to communicate the material in case technology fails. The simulated labs help further define and crystalize concepts but they do not serve as a replacement human instructor.
