    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

It was 125-175 questions. Since last year, it is 100-150 questions. A long time ago it was over 300 questions with a paper and pencil exam.

    In-Class Exercises

The labs are a good way to reinforce the knowledge, but CompTIA doesn't test people on how to use the tools. They test on the concepts. Any labs are good as long as they help reinforce the knowledge. Quite frankly, some vendors are better at writing study guides and creating labs than CompTIA.

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

ISC2 officially shortened the CISSP exam from 125-175 questions to 100-150 questions (for the CAT version) and reduced the time limit from four hours to three hours, effective April 15, 2024 . DataX vouchers were distributed a while back. That's how I got mine to take the exam.

    Passed PT0-003 today

Exams are easy or difficult based on your level of experience. Two decades ago, I thought Security+ was easy. Now I find it incredibly simple after passing six different versions of the exam. The second question is impossible to answer because all jobs are role-specific and have their own...

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

The only current CompTIA exams I haven't completed are Linux+ and DataX. I've got DataX scheduled within a month. I also passed the CISSP with the minimum number of questions, which was 125 at the time before they shortened the exam by 25 questions last year.

    Passed PT0-003 today

Congratulations! In my opinion, SecX is a bit easier than PenTest+ because you don't have to know 50+ different tool sets. Good luck!

    Passed Linux+ XK0-005

In my opinion, CySA+ was much easier than PenTest+ but your mileage my vary.

Are There New Requirements for CompTIA Trainers?

I have the MCCT and used to work for a sister company to the one that developed it. There's some decent content, but it's ridiculously easy to pass and lacks the depth of the CTT+.

    Passed Linux+ XK0-005

Without a doubt, the Linux+ exam is the toughest CompTIA exam outside of the SecurityX/CloudNetX/DataX Expert series exams. PenTest+ is probably the second toughest. Congratulations! Are you considering other Linux certifications like Linux Professional Institute (LPI) or RedHat?

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

They had a VM question in both the previous CAS-004 and the current CAS-005.

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

I can't particularly think of any topic that was particularly difficult. There was one that seemed to go deeper than the exam objectives about ISC/SCADA, but that's all I can recall.

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

I've got 30+ years of IT experience, 25+ years of technical training experience, and 20+ years of cybersecurity experience. I passed the previous version of SecurityX in 2022, and also passed the CISSP and CISM. Yeah, I'm sure that it was easy for me because of my experience. I barely...

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

I took the exam online using Pearson Vue's OnVue service and it was issue-free. From what I could tell, the exam has not changed much since the previous version. As I said before, I didn't look at the exam objectives or study at all but still had a rather easy time. Of the four PBQs, three...

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

I didn't use any study materials. Since this was a recertification, I just went in blind and took it. I only saw a few questions on topics that weren't already covered on the previous version of the exam. And I was surprised of the ease of 3 of the 4 PBQs. One thing I did notice about the...

    Passed SecurityX CAS-005

I passed the SecurityX exam this morning. I passed the CAS-004 back in April 2022. It's a challenging, comprehensive exam. I had 88 questions. 4 PBQs and 1 VM question.

CIN Essentials TTT Series: CompTIA AI Essentials

AI Essentials doesn't have a certification exam. It has a quiz, which earns you a "CompCert." https://www.comptia.org/en-us/certifications/ai-essentials/

CompTIA CAS-005 Retake Possible After Missing Appointment Due To Internet?

I've rarely had problems with online testing, and usually I was able to get it corrected rather easily. As for mindset, I work remotely and I test remotely. I'd be happy if I never had to go to the office ever again.

CompTIA CAS-005 Retake Possible After Missing Appointment Due To Internet?

Quality control at test centers is all over the place. Some are excellent, some are good, some are okay, some are poor, and some are terrible. Not to mention that scheduling is a nightmare. That's why I will never take an exam at a test center unless I'm forced to do so, like ISC2 does.
