I passed the CISSP and it renewed my SecurityX. Then another version of SecurityX came out so I retested. I had to retake both Data+ and the beta for DataSys+ since neither had a practical way of achieving enough CEUs.

The CompTIA CEU site just redirects back to the main CloudNetX page when you click on the link to see the other certs that provide CEUs. If there are other certs, CompTIA or otherwise, that provide full or partial CEUs for CloudNetX, I can't find them. Anyone know someone up the org chart who...

My CloudNetX expires on August 9, 2027. There are no higher CompTIA certs that renew the certification. There are no non-CompTIA certs that offer full or partial CEUs. You can only apply webinars for 20 of the required 75 CEUs. Are there any realistic options for the rest of the CEUs or do I...

I can't imagine stretching it over an entire semester. People forget things when they spread it over that much time.

I recommend that the students take the exams within a few weeks of completing each course. I teach adult professional boot camps, so we cover both courses in a 5-day, 40-hour course. Most learners study for a few weeks and then take both exams on the same day.

Congratulations. I recommend attempting the CloudNetX next. If you have Network+ and Cloud+, you already have a solid foundation for preparation.

I earned my MCSE in November 2003 after passing six exams. I also earned a couple of MCTS certs in SharePoint. But it seemed that the market was flooded with Microsoft trainers, so I focused more on CompTIA and other vendors. My next CompTIA cert that I'm working towards is Linux+.

I wish I could go. I mostly stick to conferences in the local area that don't require travel. I hope to make it to DefCon one day.
