I find the list to be highly suspect because it includes the Certified Data Professional (CDP), but doesn't include the CISSP, CISM, or CCIE. A+ won't get you a higher salary. It's a minimum requirement for entry-level jobs.

I have long believed that CompTIA should add one more requirement for the free vouchers. People should actually contribute to the CIN community. Not just sign up, never post, and then demand free vouchers.

I agree that Tech+ is a realistic cert. A+ is two exams and has far too many exam objectives to be covered in that timeframe.

It means that CompTIA will lose all training business to others and will only provide certifications. CompTIA's official curriculum has been sliding for a couple of decades, but the current format may kill it off entirely.

I cover the theory in class, sprinkling in a few demonstrations when possible. I assign the labs as homework.

Why would anyone use TTT for CEUs? Just take the next higher level exam.
