Employers are demanding AI skills. What's the best way to learn them?

Umm..... ask AI? (me in a joking mood...) Asking the question, "how to learn AI" is like asking the generalized question, "how do I learn computers" or "how do I learn how to paint". I do agree that a focused approach is always preferred, but one doesn't always know what he/she needs or wants...

Hey Katie: Well, all I have is what Stephen posted back in April about feedback for 2026. With most of the TTT's being TBD (probably between release timing as well as finding instructors to teach those TTT's). CySA+ is also on the TBD list, so I think we're all waiting for some more concrete...

    SecAI+ CEU for Certification Renewal

Good information, particularly for those bigger exams where folks are scraping up CEUs like mad. /r

Server+ and Project+ going to the CE model

I did as well, but I think the impetus is to downplay the GFL's in the industry - employers want evidence of current knowledge and experience - so with a certification, that means CEUs to maintain the cert. For CompTIA, well, a better revenue stream for certifications that have to be renewed...

Server+ and Project+ going to the CE model

Not sure how many of you saw this come in through Credly, but it appears that CompTIA is moving these two certifications to the CE model, along with all the others. I know Server+ was on the fence for a while - whether it was going to remain or go away. Seems like it's here to stay for a...

    Voucher date extension

I think this is probably the solution. I do believe that CompTIA can work with extenuating circumstances - although I can also see something like this getting abused very quickly.

    CloudNetX renewal

It was about the same thing for SecurityX. I attended and developed training, plus accounted for cyber work experience for my renewal. I think the X certs are probably going to all be that way. /r

I don't think so. At least I've not heard of that happening. /r

    Exam scoring

I don't think anyone is going to find it because CompTIA isn't going to release that information. To be honest, I believe any of those 'de-facto' answers are speculative at best. Only thing I can suggest is if someone who had that information was let go last year during the great buyout purge...
