Any idea when there might be an update with ITF?

I would like to see this for all exams and also very early in the process.

There are still a lot of XP machines, floppy disks being used, and other old stuff. But all these eventually have to be dropped from the objectives. What makes Ring Topology so special is what I'm wondering.

Please tell me that I'm wrong but isn't it time for Ring Topology to be removed from the Network+ objectives? I understand that there are things left in the objectives that are relevant and still in use but not sure about this one. I do see that Cat 3 cabling is gone though.

I should be there if I get final approval from my company. Hoping to present also.

If there is a Windows 11 that is substantially different, what does that do for the recent release of the 220-1101 and 220-1102 A+ Objectives? Would CompTIA revise those if there are major changes or just wait three years for the next release of the A+ Objectives?

I see that Network+ will be updated this Fall. Will there be a beta exam for it? I'm guessing not since the timeline is getting short.

So my question is do you teach the A+ curriculum as one course or two? Do you do the 1001 objectives separate from the 1002 objectives when teaching or do you just blend it together? How does this work out for students who are mostly wanting to prepare for the exams rather than those students...

That are my thoughts. Sauk Valley Community College has a few courses aligned and mapped to the Microsoft Certs. Without a cert, curriculum will disappear probably also. Maybe CompTIA should fill that void with a new cert that focuses on Server Operating Systems.

Any talk to when the next update will be out for ITF? ITF is about three years old. Looking at offering it at the college I teach at but if new objectives are coming soon, I'll wait to build the course and develop a syllabus.

You can do a lot with VirtualBox and HyperV. Especially for Security+ and Networking. Packet Tracer for Cisco labs. Cisco has a recommended set of routers and switches for the CCNA labs. Over the years I just kept on crating more and more labs for students with very little equipment due to cost.
