I see that Network+ will be updated this Fall. Will there be a beta exam for it? I'm guessing not since the timeline is getting short.

Oh Dana, you tease! So many betas this year ... Oofff, that's one beta I'd actually be hesitant to just jump onto. Looking forward to first doing the TTT this fall.
I think there is always a beta, just depends on whether it is open to public or by invite only. I think it'll happen soon, but PenTest+ (open) and CASP+ (invite only) betas are running right now.

Which one, the Data one? That's been a running, closed beta for a few weeks already.
Network+ does not have a beta on the schedule. Rumor has it that Data+ is in beta to a closed audience. We are working on putting together a Sneak Peek for the cert. Be on the look out for that in July after Partner Summit.
LOL. Knocked out first question when I chose "Other" as my job function and then got this response:
"Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Unfortunately, we are looking for a slightly different target audience at this time."
