Nearly Half of security professionals believe AI Is risky - many seeing leaked training data as a threat.
Are you included in that "nearly" half????
Are you included in that "nearly" half????
I'm pretty sure we all are. After all, one never knows what lies in the fetid recesses of the Dark Web.Are you included in that "nearly" half????
To quote Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 3, Line 87: "No."Are you included in that "nearly" half????
It can't be that we all are. That would suggest 100%, which is more than twice "nearly half".I'm pretty sure we all are. After all, one never knows what lies in the fetid recesses of the Dark Web.
Jason E, some of the CIN community members - myself primarily - are not cultured enough to decipher Line 87, Scene 3, Act 3, of a Hamlet production. Is the answer you're providing NOTo quote Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 3, Line 87: "No."
Just because half of security professionals have trepidations regarding AI doesn't mean that we all are (or nearly all) have data leaked out there for data brokers to find and feed to AIs.It can't be that we all are. That would suggest 100%, which is more than twice "nearly half".
Was your focus on responding to my query, or was it on putting another spoon of that
cherry pie in your mouth
AI is powerful, but the risks, for example leaked data training, can not be ignored. Honestly, I can say I am cautiously in that half too. What about you?Nearly Half of security professionals believe AI Is risky - many seeing leaked training data as a threat.

I'm pretty sure whoever knows how/what AI is capable of, we are all otherwise if one doesn't know AI workings they shouldn'tI'm pretty sure we all are. After all, one never knows what lies in the fetid recesses of the Dark Web.
Great points, as some challenges are dangerous not just because of their nature but because poorly thought-out solutions could create even bigger problems.AI/ML gives me a few concerns, all of which can be addressed.
Data privacy. From the data used in the training models to collecting sensitive data. We must ensure that we comply with all laws, regulations, and standards.
Ethics. Will the data be used in an ethical manner that causes no negative impact on the subjects of the data?
Threat actors. They will use and are using AI/ML for harmful purposes. They are also corrupting the training data for legitimate training models.
As long as these concerns are properly addressed, we can manage the risk.
I'm not onboard with AI in anyway, so I don't have any security concerns or any other concerns right now! Right now, in my opinion, it's being promoted as this magic powder, but I'm not fascinated by what I'm hearing - when I do actively listen!AI is powerful, but the risks, for example leaked data training, can not be ignored. AI/ML is nothing more than another way of automating/orchestrating work. Years ago, we wrote batch files. Then scripts. Now we can write algorithms. It's just one more method to take repetitive, mundane work and make it faster.I'm not onboard with AI in anyway, so I don't have any security concerns or any other concerns right now! Now that you inform me that the cranberry sauce was prepared by Ms. Butler, I fully understand why you had such a gleeful lookJust because half of security professionals have trepidations regarding AI doesn't mean that we all are (or nearly all) have data leaked out there for data brokers to find and feed to AIs.
And it was Ms. Butler's cranberry sauce...with real cranberries. Far better than any cherry pie.

Can you put that comment in layman's terms, please!!!I'm pretty sure whoever knows how/what AI is capable of, we are all otherwise if one doesn't know AI workings they shouldn't

Well, she is Pennsylvanian Dutch and has been responsible over the last 25 years or so of adding 50 lbs to my overall weight. And if you had some of that, or some of her Apple Crisp a la mode, you'd pack it on too, mate. Now that you inform me that the cranberry sauce was prepared by Ms. Butler, I fully understand why you had such a gleeful look
I blame my weight on remote work. I was leaner when I spent every day standing in front of a classroom.Well, she is Pennsylvanian Dutch and has been responsible over the last 25 years or so of adding 50 lbs to my overall weight.
