CertMaster Learn + Labs vs Testout for Security+ (SY0-701)

Hi,

I am currently evaluating two products for student use in our blended learning program, which combines independent learning with face-to-face sessions.

I'd really like to get your opinions on which product you or your students prefer and why, or if both are suitable options.

Your insights and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

My understanding is that CompTIA will be replacing CertMaster with Testout, therefore in the long run is better to get use to Testout as it will be the only option in the future.

I've used both platforms and TestOut is in many ways better than CM. My understanding is that the new product is a hybrid, the best of both worlds, hopefully.

Not quite. Basically, CompTIA is working on a unified platform that takes the best things of CertMaster and TestOut and melds it into a new training solution. We saw some of the alpha work at Partner Summit last year. Not sure on releases, but I'm looking forward to it.
