Ok. @Rick Butler found me wandering aimlessly down the hallway at ChannelCon 2023. Very interesting direction for "CompTIA A+_". Who else has more info on this?
Meanwhile Ronnie left out the best part - he spun the virtual slot machine near the marketing bling table and hit himself a $50 Amazon gift card.

So, there is the press release for the A+ underscore extension. But this is the first I had heard of anything since May. My guess is they are flavored A+ certs.

Which reminds me - I need to ask Mr. Thibodeaux about Project Agora, which he announced last year...

Hello Rick! How did you like the event for Partners?

Hello Rick! How did you like the event for Partners?
So, there were specific things of interest to me, which I think was of interest to a lot of folk -

1) The marry-up between TestOut and CompTIA. I really wanted to see what that would look like. I posted on that on the Thursday thread, but it looks interesting, basically taking the best things of both products and bringing them together.

2) I wanted to see what the "A+ Underscore"s would look like and how that would interact with the TestOut Pro competencies. Got an answer to that.

3) I was very interested in what Mr. Thibodeaux talked about last year, and how that was proceeding. He had a lot to say, which I think we'll see come out on the CIN. Suffices to say I mentioned that the CIN would love to hear more and in detail.

The one thing I didn't get to do was finish my conversation with @Jill Thielmann (she was super slammed with all her accounts wanting a slice of her time). But she did pose the question to me worth noodling - what kinds of things would we as Academic Partners like to see from her and her team - how we can get more value-add. I think this is a worthy CIN Roundtable idea - maybe a Zoom call to exchange ideas?

The partnership is one of the most valuable networks in technology learning. The CINs are great members and I am fortunate to be able to have the Academic realm to expand needed knowledge with the government and military. I have supported the effort of partnership with a collaboration that empowers the government and military' with CompTIA CINs. I am very pleased with this wonderful team of participants. Your input was enlightening Rick. Thank you.

Appreciate that, Nancy! Maybe next year, we might see you at Summit?
