Question, in TestOut when a student was taking a quiz, they were not allowed to open another TestOut tab without kicking them out of the exam. I realized today that while students were taking a quiz, one student had 4 CompTIA tabs open. 1 to launch the exam, 1 to take the exam and the other 2 the student was scrolling through the curriculum, looking up answers.

Does CompTIA have the functionality to not allow them to open other CompTIA tabs while taking an exam?

I'm not sure if it really matters because if a student wanted to look up answers, they could just open up another tab to anywhere on the net - and with AI-this and Skynet-that, well, they might actually have better luck with asking ChatGPT.

It might be better to just use the quizzes as a learning aid and go with, "well, if they elect to cheat, then they're not doing themselves any favors".

I am pleased to see the student was using the actual content to look up answers, rather than blindly pasting into a LLM for the answers.
We use Safe Exam Browser at my college, which eliminates many of these issues, but students will always seek a workaround.
