Data+ Beta exam experience

how did ye feel about the Data+ Beta exam , all I can say was it was a varied exam.

Any thoughts ?

Which Exam do you mean?
Data+ is not in Beta as of know. There is another, higher placed Exam in the DATA Path, but that is not called Data+.
No, i haven`t taken that one yet.. No time speared in 2022.

Hi @Michael Data plus is in Beta exam version 2

you would only know if you received a private acces code to it.

This is not Data+ beta 2. That would likely have exam code DA1-002, as the current Data+ is coded DA0-001.

You took DS1-001, which is listed as Data Systems. You can find the objectives document here: https://comptiacdn.azureedge.net/we...1-exam-objectives-(1-0).pdf?sfvrsn=145b2783_2

A surface perusal of the exam objectives document for DS1-001 has objectives very different than those for Data+. So much so that it would be confusing if CompTIA sought to replace DA0-001 with DS1-001 without serious explanation.

The exam is currently in Beta phase.

By the way, there's also an upcoming "Data Science+"; currently on the list of subjects you can apply as an SME for.
I just thought that it may be worthwhile for the group to know.

I know that there is a Beta for a new Data Track Exam.
Was promised from someone from CompTIA (Hello Luke) at EMEA Conference, that i would recieve a Voucher to try it. Nothing so far yet.
So @Matthew Browne, thanks for reminding me, but since Private Access Codes are not distributed in Public (afaik till now) i can`t know the Details, and you should be lucky, that you recieved an invitation.

I forgot this was a thing! It seems CompTIA are still searching for a few more SMEs, despite the public beta signup being closed. I got an email invite via Firebrand about a week ago.
