Hello Everyone,

BNA Education, an official partner of CompTIA, is seeking casual trainers to lead virtual or face-to-face classes for all CompTIA certifications. If you're interested in this opportunity, please email us at [email protected] with your resume, which includes details about your qualifications and teaching experience. We'll be happy to further discuss the next steps, many thanks.

Warm regards,
Hal

**Apologies for the incomplete information in my first post. Our campus is located in Melbourne CBD, Australia, and we primarily offer face-to-face training. However, if there is sufficient demand from students for an online session, we are open to conducting one.

Currently, we are looking for candidates for casual roles, which I believe may be equivalent to part-time or temporary positions with flexible hours in the U.S. For applications within Australia, if the course is face-to-face, a certain amount of travel expenses will be provided.**

I am confused by the "casual trainers" phrase. What does this mean for someone in the US?
Casual hours are basically on an as-needed basis. There are no guarantees of hours or timing, a contrast from Part-Time work which has a set schedule, albeit less than the 40 hour US standard. There are no ongoing commitments between employer or employee and the pay is akin to gig-work.
