How should I display my certificates in my office?

These are printouts of the certificates as I keep the original framed at home. Should I present them chronologically that I earned them, or by color, or by CompTIA’s pathway? I was thinking to just tape these to my office wall and not need a frame. Should I buy more frames for these copies?

First congratulations on the accomplishments!!!

Just my two cents, but I would get some type of frame, just to protect them through the year. You will want to easily replace them as you upgrade and add to the certs as well. I like the idea of listing by pathway! Maybe even include a printout of the CompTIA pathways so students can visualize the process.

I've never been one to display certificates on my wall. I guess I have a different mentality about it. But what I have, that came out of my Army days, is an "I-Love-Me-Book". In it, I have most every certificate I've earned in one form or another, from my JV and varsity letters that I earned in high school to my Army awards, DD214, and all the certs I earned from my time in IT.

It gives me room on the wall, at least, to display more important things, like fun posters.

I definitely agree. I never PDA, public display of achievement. I’m more looking to motivate students.

I have my college diploma on the wall of my home office. I also have nine certificates in a three by three grid on the wall. The rest are in a folder in a drawer. I occasionally rotate a few of them but keep the most prestigious ones up all the time. I have my CASP+ up on the wall but have my ITF+ in a folder. All of them are on the wall behind me so when I'm on camera, others can see them. I've got nautical posters on the other walls so that's what I get to look at in the background.

It's how I trick my virtual students into thinking that I'm a subject matter expert.

Yes, I’m thinking to add the icons to my email signature. I had some coworkers do that so it’s not my original idea, but I thought it looked great.

Congrats! Looks like Pentest+ is very recent.

• Put the certs on frame so that it would look more professional.
• You can arrange them by year, or by pathway

When you no longer got a wall space, consider using the badges instead.

I also agree with updating your LinkedIn profile with the certs you've completed.

Precisely! That is why I always displayed mine on campus. It is a great motivational tool!

I display the ones that im teaching at the partner location so students know that I am certified in those topics.

I'd swap PenTest+ with A+ and otherwise keep the order so it's top-down difficulty wise. Keep space for CASP+ and CySA+.
And yes, frames.
I used to frame and display my certs in my home office about two decades ago (I am getting old) but after a move they never found a new place.
