In other words, we enable smart people to find their passion and purpose through coding and/or cybersecurity (while making a living wage too!).
An Eleven Fifty Academy Full-Time Instructor is a permanent position that delivers Academy courses preparing students for entry/junior level cybersecurity positions. Engaging the industry, we teach, create, and maintain the curriculum that will foster meaningful student learning experiences that are relevant to their next career step.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching Network+and Security+ development courses/ programs that prepare students for entry/junior level cybersecurity positions using a variety of techniques and activities like individual learning, collaborative work, team projects, small-large group direct instruction, etc.
- Delivering a stellar “Eleven Fifty Academy” student learning experience that honors the diversity of learners and skill levels in the classroom
- Assisting in onboarding and developing new instructors, teaching assistants and instructional staff
- Collaborating with adjunct instructors and industry leaders to align classes across the Academy programs
- Creating, developing, maintaining, and enhancing curriculum materials
- Fostering relationships with strategic partners, industry leaders, class sponsors, and potential student employers to contribute to the cybersecurity ecosystem
- Performing administrative tasks like responding to student inquiries, writing student success/remediation plans, and preparing needed materials for classes or programs
- Staying current in regards to technology innovations, training and development best practices and trends, especially in an accelerated learning environment
- Being an advocate for Eleven Fifty Academy programs and students by representing and participating in Academy events, committees, advisory board meetings, and networking activities as needed
- Periodic after hours and weekend work is required
- Performing other duties, as assigned
