Hi All. I have been in the IT field for over 20 years and in different industries. I've never officially trained anybody aside from colleagues and sometimes hold tips and tricks inhouse. I hold a Network+ cert, as well as a few Microsoft certifications, including an Microsoft Certified Trainer. I've always wanted to be an instructor in IT and now that I have my MCT I would like to begin part time. So aside from having my certifications, How can I get an opportunity to instruct a class such as Network+ or A+ ?

I appreciate any assistance, or opportunities you may have.

Thanks.
Scott Grossman

Be sure to check out some postings in the Job Board, as this is a very active forum where folks will post openings for instructors.

Scott, don't hesitate to reach out to me. My background in the academic community lasted over 30 years, recently retiring and serving for most of those years as a full-time professor, and ultimately winding down my career as an adjunct faculty member. There continues to be a critical need for instructors for colleges and universities. You can reach me at [email protected].

Thanks Steve, I appreciate that. Ideally I'd like to begin instructing as an adjunct. I've applied via Comptia here: https://us241.dayforcehcm.com/CandidatePortal/en-US/comptia/Posting/View/1655
However they turned me down due to no experience; this is where the problem is, getting the opportunity to gain experience. Any suggestions?
