In case anybody's interested, I've completed a cross-reference of the PT0-001 and PT0-002 objectives.
The table shows which objectives were dropped, which were added, which were retained/moved. It's not 100% accurate, but good enough if you'd like to prepare for 002, with 001-books.

I mean, I know that we as trainers get a licensed document that does a better job at explaining the differences... but we can hardly share that, right?
This doc was made the hard way, literally cross-matching both objective documents. Hence why I may have made a few mistakes.
