Powerpoint

I do have them... but that's not how you get them. If I were to send them to you then I would be in violation of all sorts of statutes. If you do not have access to them then you have to get them through the proper channels.
And what, if I may be so bold to ask, are the proper channels? Supposedly, THIS forum was the proper channel.
I requested access to this board after receiving my certification and after I sent a couple emails. What is more, I waited to get access for so long, that I actually forgot that I had requested access. The first email I received stated that "I should receive a response within 7 days" or something like that. It's been weeks.
And then, afterwards, I logged into this page to find a list of posts that seems to have no end in sight.

So, should I send another reply to the original email I received? Or should I wait until a Training Partner assigns me a course to get the instructor materials required?

But then again, if those are "the proper channels", then what is the purpose of this site?

Don't get me wrong, but that is not exactly efficient, you know? But please correct me if I'm wrong.

First, this site is a forum that allows instructors to connect. It provides a community where we can get together and talk about - well, just about anything. We have conversations about teaching in the classroom, finding ways to connect curriculum to the learner, trends in the certification world, and just about everything in and around that locus. Basically, we all have something to teach and something to learn. We can do that with one another, here in the CIN.

Second, this site was set up to share resources, yes, but not copyrighted content. The OP asked about getting "the official PowerPoint materials for the CompTIA Server+". Assumably, this means the CompTIA copyrighted materials that are available through the CompTIA Store or through the Partner Program.

The CIN has no control over the Partner Program in any way, shape, or form, so we always recommend that if you require material for your classroom and are a CompTIA partner, to reach out to your Business Development Manager to get those materials, as you're licensed to do.

Third, the CIN community, in both of these previous purposes, provides information to the community at large, through The Pulse, Sneak Peeks, Deep Dives, and Train the Trainer briefings. These not only provide invaluable information, but they also help you with CEUs, depending on context.

I'm not sure what else you were expecting from the CIN in terms of materials and it's often a misconception that CompTIA gives out official curriculum through the CIN - the only time we ever see that is through the Train the Trainer series. All of that content is out there on On24. Use the link and click on Categories in the top left corner.

I hope this helps you and resolves any questions you may have.

You not only beat me to it, but you also worded it perfectly. Have a great evening!

Does anyone have the official PowerPoint materials for CompTIA Server+? I currently don’t have access to any resources and haven’t been able to find the files online. I’d really appreciate it if someone could share a copy or point me in the right direction.
for me no
